FPA 2011 President’s Book Awards WinnersOn the evening of Saturday, November 5, 2011, the Florida Publishers Association (FPA) presented its 2011 President’s Book Awards to finalists books chosen as the best in thirteen categories. FPA President, Chris Angermann, was the master of ceremonies during the President’s Book Awards Banquet at The Helmsley Sandcastle Hotel on Lido Beach, Sarasota. The awards program was the final event of the FPA Publishing Ed-U-Conference, themed “Publishing in a Digital Age.” Winners were selected from entries by the competition’s judges, 23 librarians from across Florida, 2 national poetry experts, and 3 members of nationally recognized book design firms.
